Why do you require a free screening first?

Free screening before starting individual sessions helps us to understand your needs and goals. It is also a great way to learn more about our services before you commit. There is no obligation that you should sign up for classes after the first screening session.

What happens during the free screening?

We will ask questions about your medical history and goals in correlation to Pilates during the 20-minute free screening. We'll get you to try out the Pilates reformer during the evaluation. It helps us to suggest the best course of action. This is also a great opportunity for you to ask questions and voice your concerns about Pilates.

How is the evaluation different from the free screening?

The evaluation is an in-depth approach compared to screening. The evaluation process will be done before classes and that help us to understand your medical history in detail. We'll also decide what your body needs based on the evaluation. Your Pilates program is designed based on the assessment. This is applicable even if you decide to join for small group class so that the instructor will be able to design an individualized program for you.

What should I wear to the studio?

Your clothing should be comfortable enough while doing body movements during the class. Sweats or yoga pants with t-shirt are recommended. We request you not to wear dangle jewelry such as necklaces, bracelets and large earrings at the studio for safety reasons. We also request you to take your shoes off before leaving the mats in the reception area. We have cubbies in our studio where you can put your belongings.

What happens during an individual Pilates session?

Your Pilates instructor will decide programs based on your needs, focusing on key areas of your body. It involves mat work, reformers, trapeze table, springboards and other equipment in the studio. If your goal is to attend the classes, we also have some of the class repertoire so you will be prepared when you join the class.

How do you use Pilates with Physical Therapy or vice versa?

The efficacy of physical therapy will be increased while doing medical Pilates, which will decompress the body by taking the pressure off from joint structures and soft tissues. Medical Pilates tailor body movements within the exercise, alleviate your body pain and increase functions.

What do you take for insurance?

We are an out of network provider and do not accept insurance.

What is your cancellation policy?
